The following are just some of the new businesses that have opened
in Elounda for the 2011 summer season. Fruit shop next to Ellie's
Place, a new butcher's shop opposite the church, a grill takeaway
near to Fotis & Marina shops and a Greek taverna close to the
slipway (foot of Mavrikiano hill).

Summer tunes at Miakoda. Charlene delights with soulful jazz. Alexandros
and Michael are quality singers & guitarists whilst DJ Sam spins
some wicked tunes, all in the course of a week at Miakoda.

Elounda's talent has been showcased already this summer with live
musicians also appearing in Alyggos, Online Internet cafe and other
venues.

Various summer parties have been held at Alyggos Bar, Jungle Bar,
Hiona and other locations whilst Plaka and Ipanema are popular Sunday
